Reduction in the registration fee for the EANM Annual Congress.
The EANM Annual Congress is the world-leading meeting in the field of Nuclear Medicine. It has become a forum for scientific exchange and business and personal networking, attracting about 6,300 participants worldwide. The congress is well established, recognised by colleagues, and seen by the industry as the foremost marketplace for nuclear medicine products throughout Europe.
EANM members receive a significant reduction in the registration fee for the Annual Congress.
Attention: Only members who have paid the total amount of their membership fee by May 31 of the respective year will benefit from the reduced Member registration fee for the EANM Annual Congress.
Scientific Journals
EANM members have free online access to the content of the official journal of the association, the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (EJNMMI), every month and to two supplements per year (one is the abstract book of the congress and the other features a special topic). In addition, members can access Springer’s electronic link system through the members’ area on the EANM website, being able to read all guidelines and articles published in the journal.
The EJNMMI aims to provide a forum for exchanging clinical and scientific information for the nuclear medicine community and allied professions involved in the functional, metabolic and molecular investigation of disease. The EJNMMI is of primary interest to those practising nuclear medicine but also reports on original work relating to physics, dosimetry, radiation biology, computer science, radiochemistry and pharmacy. Furthermore, the journal publishes in-depth reviews of topical interest, editorial commentaries, occasional surveys, short communications and correspondence. The journal also includes a section featuring the Society News of the EANM.
As of 2007, an EANM agreement with the Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine (JSNM) provides reciprocal electronic access for members of both societies to both journals.
EANM members have free access to all EJNMMI online content.
Website
The EANM website www.eanm.org is the premier source of information about the association and serves as the communication platform for nuclear medicine in Europe. Among other items, it features information on the organisation in general, the educational programmes of the European School of Multimodality Imaging and Therapy, news on the activities of the Committees, scientific information such as guidelines, a job area, EU news and a calendar of events (with the options of online event announcements and application for EANM auspices). Furthermore, all activities regarding congress participation (abstract submission, registration, hotel reservation etc.) are conducted online. A Members’ area with access only for EANM members includes, for example, a ‘search for member’ function, an electronic link to the full-text version of the EJNMMI and the latest documents for members.
EANM members receive access to the closed members’ area of the website.
Representation of interests towards the EU, Governmental Agencies and Other Medical Societies
Due to its broad membership base, strong networking contacts, professional organisation and scientific strength, the EANM has become a central player in representing the interests of European nuclear medicine towards the EU, governmental agencies and other medical societies.
EANM members benefit from the representation of their interests within both the EU and the worldwide network.
Newsletters
To distribute rapidly relevant information about the membership, e-newsletters are dispatched regularly. Attention is drawn to new features of the website, updates on the Annual Congress and educational activities, items of interest regarding EU policies and much more.
EANM members receive regular updates on global news.

Ordinary membership
EURO 115.- per year, including online access to EJNMMI.
Additional EUR 125,- for the printed EJNMMI.
Ordinary membership is available to any physician, scientist or person committed to the objectives of the EANM who has a completed university or equivalent education and is mainly engaged in nuclear medicine.
Associate membership
EURO 85.- per year, including online access to EJNMMI.
Additional EUR 125,- for the printed EJNMMI.
Associate membership is available to people with no academic degree, interested in or working in nuclear medicine or related fields.
Nurse/Technologist membership
Type 1: EURO 100.- per year, online access only to EJNMMI. Additional EUR 110,- for the printed EJNMMI.
Type 2: EURO 30.- per year, without EJNMMI. Neither printed nor an online journal.
Nurse/Technologist membership has been created for any qualified nurse or healthcare professional working as a nuclear medicine technologist. To apply for nurse/technologist membership, it is mandatory to provide a certificate (in English) from the Head of Department.
Emeritus/Senior membership
EURO 80.- per year, including online access to EJNMMI.
Additional EUR 110,- for the printed EJNMMI.
Emeritus/Senior Membership is open to any Ordinary Member who is at least 65 years old (at the time of application).
Student membership
(free of charge)
Student membership is open to students without any academic degree, even if a degree has been achieved in a completely different field and/or has no relevance to the current professional occupation. Only persons starting their academic journey, meaning those not holding any titles (for example, but not restricted to: BA/BSc, MA/MSc) are eligible for a free EANM student membership. To apply for student membership, it is mandatory to provide a confirmation of enrollment (in English) to membership@eanm.org.
Affiliated Society membership
(free of charge)
National Societies from outside the scope of the Council of Europe are encouraged to participate in the activities of the EANM by becoming “Affiliate Societies”.
Corporate Membership
EANM Corporate Membership can be offered to individuals, societies, associations or companies interested in promoting the aims of the EANM. To take advantage of the full range of benefits as a Corporate Member, your application and payment must be received by January 31 of the respective year. For applications received after January 31, please refer to the application and payment deadlines to verify which benefits are still applicable for the respective year.
The EANM corporate membership fee is EUR 7.500,- per year.

Honorary Membership
Reflecting on its considerable history, the EANM awarded its inaugural honorary memberships during the EANM ’06 Congress in Athens, Greece. This distinction was awarded to four founders of the EANM in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the field of nuclear medicine and to the Association. Since that time, EANM Honorary Membership has been awarded to several outstanding individuals.
